14 DAYS UGANDA ADVENTURE AND WILDLIFE SAFARI
Overview
The 14 days safari, takes you to part of Eastern Uganda, Jinja and Kapchorwa for white water rafting in the River Nile and a hike to the Sipi Falls. It Meets the Western Uganda Safari circuit connecting to Murchison Falls National park, down to Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee tracking, before joining Queen Elizabeth NP, for the Kazinga Channel cruise and drive in the Kasenyi plain to further south in Ishasha for the tree climbing lions. You will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable for Gorilla tracking and then relax at Lake Bunyonyi before connecting to Lake Mburo National park for a walking safari.
Details
Day 1-Arrival and Pick-Up
Upon your arrival, the guide will meet you, welcome you and transfer you to you hotel/facility. Later he will brief you about the safari and have an overnight as you await for your adventure to start the next day.

Day 2- Transfer to Jinja for rafting
Wake up very early in the morning (you will not have breakfast at the hotel) and drive to Jinja (must be there before 9) for your rafting session. You will have a day to enjoy the thrills and spills by the wild waters of the Nile River as you raft. After rafting, you will relax at the lodge and have an overnight there.

Day 3-Transfer to Sipi Falls (Evening walk to the falls)
Today after breakfast, you will have a drive to Further eastern Uganda (Kapchorwa) where you will visit a small hamlet on the foot hills of Mt. Elgon-Sipi Village and do a walk to the three series of waterfalls here (Sipi Falls) in the evening.

Day 4-Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Today, you will have breakfast at the Lodge, and drive to Murchison Falls National Park using the Kumi-Lira road. To approach the park from the North. You will enter the park, drive to the lodge and check-in. You can do an evening game drive (optional) depending on the time of arrival and fatigue.

Day 5-Morning game drive and boat cruise
Today, morning after breakfast, embark on drive in the palm dotted northern bank of Victoria Nile. This is the savanna part of Murchison falls and the most life at the park is here. Using the network of tracks here, you will go on search for the big cats, Lions, Leopards and other life like the Giraffes, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes etc. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, when it is hot and the activities slow in the Savanna, embark on a cruise to the bottom of the fall. Relax and sail south as you watch wildlife and bird on the shores to a spectacular view point of the thundering Nile. Return to the lodge for overnight.

Day 6 -Transfer to Kibale National Park
Today morning you wake up, have breakfast and cross the Victoria Nile on the ferry or by the bridge. Drive to the top of the falls, see where the river Nile fixes its self in the 7m gorge to plunge 45m creating the world’s most powerful waterfalls. It is here that it meets its great obstacle. After continue to Kibale Forest National park arriving in the evening.

Day 7-Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
In the morning, have breakfast and carry your lunch and drive to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for briefing. You will meet the ranger guides that will tell you about how to behave while in the presence of Chimpanzees. You will get into the forest and for hours, you will walk looking for the chimpanzees. After getting them, you will be allowed an hour for photography and watching. After tracking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 8-Morning game drive, boat cruise and drive to Ishasha Sector.
Today you explore the plain in the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. You will do a game drive in the Kasenyi plains after you early breakfast. Later in the afternoon, check out and head for a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel that joins the two lakes Edward and George. The 40km long channel hosts different wild animals that come here to drink and birds. From here you will drive to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park and have an overnight.

Day 9-Morning Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Famous for the Climbing lions is the Ishasha sector. The lazy prides here rest in tree, an adaptation that is still being studied to know why they do so. Today you will do a game drive in search of the tree climbing lion in the Ishasha plain. Later have lunch at lodge and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park in the south West.

Day 10-Gorilla tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Today, is the highlight of the trip, it is the day to encounter the gentle giants, in their cold forest of Bwindi. Today you wake up, have breakfast, and pack well your requirements (hiking shoes, rain jackets, cameras, hat, light clothes) and drive to the headquarters. Here you will be briefed and later join the group and go for gorilla tracking. When you meet the gorillas, you will only be allowed an hour. After returning and drive to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 11-Full day at Lake Bunyonyi
Today you will have a full day at Lake Bunyonyi to relax from the long drives and walks. You do an Island tour on motorized canoes and a walk through the community. Relax at the Lodge in the evening. Have dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi View Resort.

Day 12-Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (Evening game drive)
Today you drive on a smooth road to Lake Mburo National park. This is Uganda’s smallest park, and closest park to the Capital Kampala. You will arrive during lunch hours and have lunch at the Lodge. You will in the evening do game drive in the Park before having dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13-Morning walking Safari and drive to Kampala
Lake Mburo National park is low on the predator count. And this allows walking in the park. Today after breakfast, you will drive to the park and do a walking safari before transferring to Kampala. After you will drive to Kampala/Entebbe for your overnight.

Day 14 -Departure
This will be the last day and end of the 14 days. The guide will drop you at the airport for your exit flight.
